Características

Pertencendo à linhagem dos tigres de Thundera, Tygra (pronúncia: Taigra) é um dos mais poderosos e versáteis ThunderCats. Calmo e racional, Tygra é o cientista do grupo, além de ser um experiente arquiteto. Ele também é o vice-líder dos ThunderCats, assumindo o comando do grupo nas situações em que Lion-O não pode fazê-lo. Foi Tygra quem projetou a Toca dos Gatos, incluindo todos os sistemas de computadores, redes elétricas e geradores de energia. Seus conhecimentos vão desde arquitetura e engenharia até química e ciências biológicas. Sua arma é um chicote que possui uma boleadeira na ponta que, quando está envolvido em seu corpo, lhe oferece a capacidade de ficar invisível. Ele também pode gerar ilusões telepáticas em suas vítimas.

Pontos fortes: Força mental inigualável, um perito em ciências como química e física, além de arquiteto altamente qualificado. Capacidade de se tornar invisível com a ajuda de seu chicote boleadeira, também capaz de criar ilusões usando o poder da mente.

Fraqueza: Água, já que não sabe nadar (muito estranho, visto que tigres são ótimos nadadores). Suas habilidades mentais não são sustentáveis por longos períodos. Também é tímido e inseguro muitas vezes, o que faz Tygra ser suscetível a estimulantes externos.

Histórico
Tygra é o arquiteto da Toca dos Gatos, um ThunderCat altamente inteligente e pensativo cujos principais pontos fortes são suas habilidades mentais. Talvez por causa de sua experiência e conhecimento, juntamente com sua natureza equilibrada, mesmo sendo Lion-O o Senhor dos ThunderCats, Jaga nomeou Tygra como o Chefe do Conselho ThunderCat. Embora naturalmente tímido e pacífico na personalidade, Tygra éum adversário formidável em combate e nunca se afastará da batalha na defesa de seus amigos ou inocentes.
